All lessees of land in the neighbourhoods Dein, Gato, Kanga, Monteverde, Wishi or Souax must pay their lease through our office. Payments elsewhere will not be accepted. The lease is due annually prior to the year to which it relates and is determined per unit. A unit is understood to mean a piece of land in case it is empty, an apartment in the event of further letting, every 200m2 of commercial use and in all other cases a building. Please note that these fees only apply to registered lessees. The competitive (non-registered lessees) annual fee is determined per unit of 100m2 of land. If for any reason you object to the leasing fee you may object using form 8226. If filled correctly we will review your objections and, if appropriate, recalculate your leasing fee. In addition to registering lessees and calculating and collecting the rent, we can on request grant permission for applications for, for example, utility connections or building permits.
For the connection utilities, permission from the landowner is required. On behalf of the landowner, we can write a letter to Aqualectra in which this permission is granted. To provide this service the registration must be in order and the lessee must be up to date with payments.
When applying for a building permit or a land measurement certificate, permission from the landowner is required. We can write a letter on behalf of the landowner granting said permission. To provide this service the registration must be in order and the lessee must be up to date with payments. Furthermore we will require a satisfactory reason for the request.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: the senior discount is only applicable to registrations prior to July 1st 2021. The land and everything that is permanently attached to the land is private property and may not be sold or otherwise encumbered without the prior consent of the landowner. Transfer of lease rights may not occur without the prior consent of the landowner. The land may not be used for commercial or industrial purposes without the prior consent of the landowner.
